Mobile in Lahr Bus

The complete closure of the railroad bridge on Rheinstraße is having a significant impact on local public transportation in Lahr and the surrounding communities. To ensure bus service remains as reliable as possible despite the detours and to stabilize the schedules, the City of Lahr and SWEG have jointly agreed on initial adjustments. These will take effect on Saturday, August 8, 2026. The updated schedules are available for download on the SWEG website.

City Bus Line 102

• The “Mietersheim Fachmarktzentrum” stop will no longer be served. As an alternative, the “Mietersheim Am Lerchenberg” stop is available.
• The “Leopoldstraße” stop in the direction of the city center will no longer be served. The “Bahnhof/ZOB” stop is available as an alternative.
• The “Breslauer Straße” and “Römerstraße” (on Römerstraße) stops heading toward Mietersheim are no longer served. As an alternative, a new stop for the “Römerstraße” stop has been established on Vogesenstraße near Getränke Kloos.

City Bus Line 103

• The “Stiftskirche” stop is no longer served. As an alternative, the “Roonstraße” or “Rathausplatz” stops are available.
• The “Lahr Schlüssel” stop is no longer served. As an alternative, Line 108 toward the “Rathausplatz” – “Bahnhof/ZOB” stops is available. Please note the schedule times. From “Lahr Schlüssel,” you can also use other city and regional transit lines.

City Transit Line 104

• The “Lahr Schlüssel” stop in the direction of Burgheim – Heiligenzell – Friesenheim/Oberweier is no longer served. As an alternative, the “Untere Burgheimer Straße” stop is available.
• The “Lahr Schlüssel” stop in the direction of Rathausplatz – Lahr Bahnhof/ZOB – Hugsweier is no longer served. As an alternative, the “Untere Burgheimer Straße” stop is available. From “Lahr Schlüssel,” you can also use other city and regional transit lines. Please note the applicable schedule times.
• The “Friesenheim Bahnhof” stop is no longer served in either direction. The “Friesenheim Industriegebiet” stop is available as an alternative.

City Transit Line 107

• The line begins and ends at the “Bahnhof/ZOB” stop.
• The stops “Flugplatzstraße,” “Johann-Peter-Hebel-Schule,” and “Zeppelinstraße,” as well as the on-demand stop “Schweickhardtstraße,” are no longer served. Line 103 is available as an alternative. Please note the schedule times.

City Bus Line 108

• The “Karl-Kammer-Straße” stop is no longer served. The next stop served by Line 108 is “Langenwinkel Rathaus.” As an alternative, Line 103 is available with an additional stop on the detour route. Please note the schedule times.
• The “Raiffeisenstraße” stop is no longer served. As an alternative, Line 103 is available starting at the “Zeppelinstraße” stop. Please note the schedule times.

Regional Transit Line 106

Routes from Altenheim – Meißenheim – Schwanau – Lahr Train Station/ZOB – Lahr Schlüssel to Lahr Herzzentrum and back:

• The scheduled trips begin and end at the “Lahr Schlüssel” stop.
• The “Lahr Herzzentrum” stop is no longer served. As an alternative, the “Walkenbuck (Herzzentrum)” stop is available. Please note the schedule times.
• The “Bertha-von-Suttner-Allee” stop in Lahr is no longer served. The “Walkenbuck (Herzzentrum)” stop is available as an alternative. Please note the schedule times for this route.
• The “Willy-Brandt-Straße” stop in Lahr is no longer served by Line 106 in the direction of “Lahr Schlüssel.” As an alternative, Line 103 is available from the stop on the opposite side of the street. Please note the schedule times.
• The “Lahr-West” stop is no longer served on some routes. Please check the posted timetables for details.

Regional Transit Line 109

• The “Lahr West,” “Zeppelinstraße,” “Johann-Peter-Hebel-Schule,” and “Flugplatzstraße” stops are no longer served. Line 103 is available as an alternative.
• The “Hugsweier Hauptstraße” stop is no longer served. As an alternative, the newly established “Am Wolfsgarten” stop on Hugsweier Hauptstraße near building no. 35/44 is available for both directions of travel.

The City of Lahr and SWEG ask for your understanding regarding these necessary changes and recommend that passengers carefully review the passenger information posted at the affected stops. The data in the electronic schedule information systems is expected to be updated by Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at the latest.

Further schedule adjustments are planned to take effect on Monday, September 14, 2026.
