The indoor pool in Lahr offers a wide range of activities for people of all ages.
Since its opening in 1974, the baths have been completely renovated and bathers can choose between different pools, which together measure more than 500 square meters of water.
Indoor swimming season starts again
The indoor pool will reopen its doors to all swimming enthusiasts on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.
Registration for swimming lessons and other courses for the 2026–2027 season will not be available until the indoor pool reopens in September.
The outdoor pool will be open for the last time this season on Friday, September 18, 2026.
The Lahr indoor pool has a lot to offer

On the one hand, there is the swimmers' pool, which measures 25 by 10 meters. The four lanes are equipped with starting blocks, allowing a refreshing jump to get off to a dynamic start.
Various courses are also offered in the non-swimmers' pool.

The teaching or non-swimmer pool measures 12.5 by 9.5 meters and is ideal for having fun in the water and learning to swim without risk. Due to the low water height, there is also space for a wide variety of games or the programs offered by the indoor pool.

Of course, there is also a pool for the very little ones, with warm water that invites them to play and splash around. This is located in direct view of the non-swimmers' pool, allowing parents to keep an eye on their younger and older children at the same time.
A highlight for many visitors is the diving pool. This is equipped with a diving tower that offers three diving levels of one meter, three meters and five meters, providing plenty of thrills.

The indoor pool also offers a wide range of courses to help visitors keep fit. Aqua Zumba, swimming courses for babies and toddlers, water gymnastics, aqua fitness and aqua jogging are just some of the activities on offer. There is something for everyone here!

During the current season, the indoor pool team offers guests a wide variety of recreational activities:
Swim lessons for children ages five and up are offered throughout the indoor pool season. Price: 145.00 euros for 10 sessions and 2 additional hours. The children’s swimming lessons take place on weekdays from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Water aerobics for everyone takes place every Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.; participation is free and no registration is required.
Every Friday, there is a play afternoon from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., where various water play equipment is provided.
Aqua fitness takes place on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. Price: 110.00 euros for 10 sessions.
Baby swimming takes place every Friday. Sessions are held from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. or from 10:15 to 11:00 a.m. Price: 90.00 euros for 6 sessions.

On two days a year (usually the first Monday in the Easter vacations and Monday in the fall vacations), the Lahr indoor pool is open from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. for women and girls only. Admission is reduced.
