The following types of waste are accepted free of charge for private deliveries in Lahr-Sulz:

  • Bulky waste
    • Free acceptance for private deliveries for everything that would be taken away with the bulky waste collection.
  • Wooden furniture of all kinds (excluding impregnated garden furniture)
  • Scrap metal
  • Electrical and electronic appliances including refrigerators and freezers
  • Paper/cardboard/cardboard from households
  • Household batteries
    • In the case of lithium batteries/rechargeable batteries, the terminals must be taped before being handed in or the batteries must be individually packed in bags. Do not accept starter batteries (e.g. from cars/bikes), industrial batteries and accumulators or damaged lithium batteries and accumulators.
  • CDs and DVDs
    • Only CDs/DVDs without cases. Dispose of these in the gray garbage can!
  • Hard plastic waste made of polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP), e.g. sandpit toys, plastic bowls, dustpans or small cleaning buckets from the household as well as rainwater barrels, laundry baskets, fruit crates, household tubs, folding baskets, watering cans, bobby cars or children's seats
  • Empty printer cartridges (ink cartridges, toner cartridges or drum units for inkjet or laser printers) - Red garbage can at the landfill site
    • Full or half-full printer cartridges must not be disposed of in the red garbage cans. These can still be disposed of free of charge at the hazardous waste collection point.
