Following a steep climb, the route takes the mountain path to the castle ruins of Geroldseck. From there, it's up and down hill past the Brudertal chapel and back to the start point.

Via the Lendersbach hut, at the miniature village turn right down the Vogelstrasse to the Pionierstein. Follow the mountain path past the Steinfirstbrunnen to the Rebmesserstein. Continue on the mountain path past the Rauhkasten and on to the Geroldseck castle ruins. From the ruins, retrace the route past the Evangelisches Jugendheim and down into the Weil valley. Descend to Reichenbach and via Kuhbach into the Brudertal. From the Tafeltanne, it's a quick valley descent back to the starting point.
