Bike Bus to the Geisberg

Not decided what you want to do at the weekend? Why not explore your surroundings on foot or by bike? It's for this very reason that the SWEG bus company offers special bike-bus trips on Sundays and public holidays from the end of March to the end of October, leaving from Lahr West via Lahr Bahnhof (railway station) – Schlüssel – Kuhbach – Reichenbach – Seelbach – Schuttertal to the Geisberg (615 m high).

And what makes this really great: it's free to take your bike with you on the SWEG bike bus. Passengers must carry the usual tickets (single tickets or season tickets) issued by TGO Tarifverbund Ortenau.

For operational reasons, cycles may be loaded and unloaded only at the following stops:

  • Lahr West
  • Lahr Schlüssel
  • Seelbach Rathaus (Town Hall) and Engel
  • Schuttertal Adler and Geisberg Höhehäuser (see timetable)

Passengers without a bicycle may of course get on and off the bus at any stop. Please note that space in the bike trailer is restricted to a maximum 40 bicycles. Places cannot be reserved.

No liability is accepted for damage to bicycles.
