The leisurely stroll starts with convenient parking
There are about 2000 public parking places available and several hundred extra parking places provided by businesses for their customers in Lahr city center. In addition to the parking guidance system, the city of Lahr provides its citizens and guests from outside the city with a parking flyer.
The new parking flyer shows where and when visitors can park their vehicles advisedly and affordably or even for free. In a clear diagram, the parking place flyer provides at-a-glance information about the duration of parking, costs and type of parking lot. Handicapped parking is clearly marked separately.
The entire range of mobility is displayed in a comprehensive, yet clear manner. Bus stops, bicycle and motorcycle parking as well as share-a-taxi or car sharing stops provide specific information as to where a car driver can find parking in Lahr.
The brochures can be picked up in the BürgerBüro and in the KulTourBüro and can also be obtained in different businesses in the inner city or downtown area. The parking charges for paid parking spaces are partially reimbursed by businesses that are members of the Werbegemeinschaft Lahr (Association of Businesses).
