If you prefer swimming in a lake in the countryside, we suggest the Waldmattensee near Kippenheimweiler. The lake has a consistently good water quality. In the middle of an idyllic landscape, the meadow beside the lake looks really inviting for a picnic. A great spot for relaxing.

The Waldmattensee is freely accessible and there are an adequate number of free parking spaces available. Bringing animals and allowing them to bathe in the water is not permitted. This rule is welcomed by almost all the swimmer guests, especially the many families with children.
